"La Mandragola" means "The Wild Girl" (in a very positive sense) and was part of the cult clique around producers such as Michele Chiarlo, La Barbatella, Domenico Clerico (barolo) and others in what was considered the "new wine" ”In Piedmont in the 1980s - 2000s.
